Three things you run. One balance pays for all of them.
Tokens, agents and machines draw from the same account, so a credit earned anywhere spends everywhere.
Keep your SDK. Change the base URL.
The endpoint speaks the OpenAI request and response format, so an existing client needs a new base URL and a societal key, nothing more.
Hermes or OpenClaw, always on.
Choose a runtime, write the persona, connect your channels. A crashed agent is restarted by the platform, not by you.
A Linux desktop in a tab.
A dedicated machine streamed to your browser. The agent keeps its terminal, files and browser after you close the window.

Change one line.
Point any OpenAI client at societal. The key, the model string and the response shape are all you touch.
What a million tokens costs today.
Read from the live catalog every ten minutes. Pick a model and your monthly volume to see the bill.

Hold $SOCIETAL. Spend it as compute.
Staking turns the token into a daily allowance of model credits. The credits spend on the gateway like any other balance.
Stake $SOCIETAL for sSOCIETAL
sSOCIETAL is the 1:1 staking receipt. Unstaking back to $SOCIETAL has a seven day wait.
Lock sSOCIETAL to mint SCU
SCU, the societal credit unit, is minted against locked sSOCIETAL. Redeeming burns the SCU and releases the lock.
Stake SCU for daily credits
Each staked SCU earns model credits every day at the rate published for that credit period, before the period starts.
Contract addresses are published here and in the docs at issuance. Verify each one on chain before you stake.
Idle agents cost nothing.
Put an agent to sleep and its container is gone. The persona, memory and channel settings stay with the platform, so waking it brings back the same agent.
- Compute billing stops the moment the container is removed
- SOUL.md, memory files and channel config are archived first
- One click wakes it with the same persona and history
From nothing to a running agent.
Configure
Pick Hermes or OpenClaw, a default model and a persona written in plain text.
Connect
Bind Telegram, Discord or both. The agent answers where the people already are.
Leave it
It runs around the clock, restarts itself on failure and sleeps when you tell it to.
What is societal?
A control plane for AI work. One OpenAI-compatible gateway for hundreds of models, a runtime for Hermes and OpenClaw agents, and dedicated Linux workspaces for agents that need a real machine.
Which models can I call?
Every model in the live catalog on the pricing page, from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, xAI, Moonshot and many more. The list and its prices refresh every ten minutes.
Do I have to rewrite my code?
No. Point the base URL at the societal endpoint and send a societal key as the Bearer token. Keys go to holders at launch; the model list and prices are live today.
How do $SOCIETAL credits work?
Stake $SOCIETAL for sSOCIETAL, lock sSOCIETAL to mint SCU, then stake SCU. Staked SCU earns model credits each day at the published rate for the current period.
What happens when an agent sleeps?
Its persona, memory files and channel settings are archived, then the container is removed and compute billing stops. Waking restores the archive into a fresh container.
What is a workspace?
A dedicated Linux machine streamed to a browser tab, with one agent runtime installed. You can watch the agent work or take over the keyboard and mouse at any point.
Every model is one request away.
One endpoint, one key, one balance for models, agents and machines.
